  • 2 pounds chuck steak (cubed)
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 red bell pepper(chopped)
  • 1/2 white onion (chopped and divided)
  • 4-5 tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 (pack) Goya achiote
  • 2-3 teaspoons Knorr (for chicken flavour)

Step By Step Instructions To Make Steak Picado

Step 1

In a saucepan, heat a little oil and add the meat when the oil is hot. Let it cook over medium flame for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 2

Add one-fourth of the onion and bell peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 5 minutes or more if needed.

Step 3

Blend the tomatoes one-fourth of white onion goya achiote, knorr, garlic cloves, and water in a blender when the meat is cooking.

Step 4

Add the blend to the meat and cook for 20 minutes over low flame. Serve and Enjoy!
