- 1½ lb mascarpone cheese
- 2 cups heavy cream (chilled)
- 1¼ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 9 egg yolks
- 1½ cups coffee (prepared at room temperature, preferably strong)
- 4 oz coffee liqueur (4 shots)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ tablespoon cocoa powder
- 7 oz ladyfinger cookies
Step By Step Instructions To Make Olive Garden Tiramisu
Step 1
Into a saucepot, pour milk and warm over medium heat. Until the milk is warm, mix the egg yolks and sugar. Stir until the eggs have turned pale and the sugar has dissolved roughly 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 2
Put 1/4 cups of milk in a saucepot, whisk the egg mixture to combine, and pour it back into the saucepot. Cook until thickened, about five minutes. Stir frequently.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, strain the custard and set it aside for it to cool completely at room temperature. While the custard is cooling, combine coffee and coffee liqueur. Stir to combine and set aside.
Step 4
Whisk the cream until it forms stiff peaks in a mixing bowl. Place aside. Then fold in the Mascarpone cheese, cooled-down custard, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Step 5
You are now ready to assemble your tiramisu. Spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture in the bottom of a 13 1/2-inch baking dish.
Step 6
Pour your spiked coffee over 12 ladyfingers, then place them in your baking dish. Be sure that your ladyfingers are crispy inside but soggy outside.
Step 7
Over the cookies, spread 13 tablespoons of the mascarpone mixture. Dust with cocoa powder. Then repeat this layering procedure with the remaining ingredients, dusting the topmost layer with cocoa powder.
Step 8
