For The Crust

  • Flour, 1½ cups
  • powdered sugar/icing, 1/3 cup
  • cold butter (cubed), ½ cup
  • egg yolk, 1 
  • ice water, 1-2 tablespoon

For The Filling

  • 4 large bananas (thinly sliced)
  • Milk, 1½ cup
  • heavy whipping cream, ½ cup
  • egg yolks, 4 
  • Sugar, ¾ cup
  • cornstarch / cornflour, 2 tablespoon
  • Flour, 2 tablespoon
  • Butter, 2 tablespoon
  • salt, 1 pinch

For The Topping

Cream, 2 cups

sifted icing / powdered sugar, ¼ cup

Step By Step Instructions To Make Pioneer Woman Banana Cream Pie

For The Crust

Step 1

Combine all the crust ingredients in a food processor and pulse until a dough forms.

Step 2

Spread the dough evenly onto the pie plate and press it up the sides. Crimp the edges and smooth the top.
